PhotographyBLOG has teamed up with Designer Print to offer you a range of great print products. Turn your favourite images into a work of art by having them printed onto canvas, block mounted, or a poster print.
Canvas Prints
Your image will be printed directly onto artist's grade canvas. We use a high quality 340gsm matte canvas. Combined with the Epson pigment based inks, your prints are guaranteed to remain crisp and vibrant for over 75 years. Canvas prints are heat-sealed for ultimate protection against scratches and splashes.
Canvas prints are stretched over a 2” x 2”, (5cm x 5cm) thick wooden frame made of best quality Redwood, which is beveled at a 75-degree angle, solid, mitred, glued and screwed.
The canvas is stretched right round the frame and stapled neatly at the back to make sure there are no messy tacks or staples round the edges.
Pictures can also be 'gallery-wrapped', which means your image is printed round the sides of the frame. Please state whether you would like this when ordering.
MDF Block Mounting
Add extra depth and dimension to your image by having your canvas or poster prints mounted onto 18mm MDF blocks.
Poster prints are first laminated and then vacuum-sealed onto the blocks using dry mount tissue. The edge of the block is bevelled at 45 degrees and you have the option to have the sides painted matte black, white emulsion or left as natural MDF.
Canvas prints look exceptional on MDF too. The image is applied by first heat-sealing it for ultimate protection and then mounted onto the MDF block using dry mount tissue. The canvas print can be finished by leaving the sides plain, or having the sides painted either with matte black or white emulsion or by 'gallery wrapping' it round the sides of the block so that the sides of the block become an integral partof the picture. Please state your preference when ordering.
Poster Printing
See your favourite photographs enlarged to poster size. Our Large Format Digital Printing (poster print) service provides you with a fast and effective method of photographic enlargement on glossy paper with no loss of text or picture quality. Your print would look great as an MDF block mount.
